Get ready, set and go for Christmas at Wendover’s first Santa Dash

Burn off some Christmas calories and raise some money at Wendover’s first Santa Dash, in aid of Florence Nightingale Hospice.

Starting and finishing at a new traditional Christmas Market at Wendover Memorial Hall on Wharf Road, this brand new Santa Dash will combine a festive fundraising challenge with an opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts.

The 2.5km circular course through the heart of Wendover is wheelchair, buggy and scooter friendly, so it’s suitable for all the generations, making this a great Christmas event for all the family. All entrants will be provided with a Santa suit to make a splash of seasonal colour through the town.

A very special visitor has promised to pop by to start the dash, cheer everyone on and say hello to all the children.

You can pre-register for the event online at the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity website until midnight on Thursday 13 December or you can sign up on the day at Wendover Memorial Hall from 10am (subject to places still being available).

Not able to join the Santa Dash? Come along to cheer on the runners from 11am and pick up some seasonal gifts and food at the Christmas Market.
