Give a Lift Week 2013

Community Transport plays a vital role in helping those who have difficulty getting out and about maintain their independence. Whether for urgent medical appointments, shopping, or maintaining social activity, Community Transport relies on many volunteers including drivers and co-ordinators who give their time every day or once a month, these volunteers make a huge difference to their community needs.

The Community Impact Bucks Transport Team will be at venues across Buckinghamshire throughout the week to advise on community transport. They will also be on hand to help members of the public who may be considering setting up their own community car scheme.
