Gold Star Performance from Tims Dairy
Premium alternative yogurt brand Tims Dairy has won 5 Gold Stars at this year’s Great Taste Awards – considered by many to be the ‘Oscars’ of the food and drink industry.
This takes their grand total to 13 Gold Stars since just 2011.
Bio-Live Greek Style Natural yogurt, which has no added sugar, won 2 Gold Stars. Judges’ comments included “Silky smooth yogurt, beautiful acidity, lactic notes, thick and rich.”
Their Soured Cream – mild, thick set with a fresh distinctive flavour and no added sugar – also won 2 Gold Stars and the judges here said the product was “Rich and smooth with well judged acidity.”
Last, but not least, Buttermilk – light and fresh and ideal for chefs as an ingredient – won a Gold Star. The judges thought it delicious on its own and wonderful for baking.
