Halton Military Wives’ Choir Triumphant

The Halton Military Wives’ Choir were triumphant at their premiere concert at Ballinger Memorial Village Hall.

At the invitation of Ballinger W.I. the newly formed choir, entertained a full hall to the story of how the ladies started singing together and have now become a strong and confident choral group.

Ballinger W.I. was proud to be able to put together such a wonderful evening, whilst raising £1400 to be shared between the choir and SSAFA who provide support to our forces and their families.

Ballinger W.I. President Maggie Johnstone was pleased that the audience enjoyed sharing the story about the formation of the Military Wives Choir and appreciated being led through their warm up routine, even being allowed to join in, with gusto, with their warm-up songs. In the second half we listened to their well known repertoire of songs, which we all know and love. It really was an evening to be recommended.
