Have your say on Wycombe and Stoke Mandeville Hospitals
Community Impact Bucks is working with RAISE to provide support to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) through its inspection of acute hospitals. Both Wycombe and Stoke Mandeville Hospitals are going to be inspected by the CQC between 18th – 21st March 2014.
Community Impact Bucks is organising and facilitating two focus groups (one for Stoke Mandeville and one for Wycombe) for voluntary and community sector organisations to share the experieces of their client groups with the inspector.
Purpose of the focus groups
These focus groups are designed to enable voluntary and community sector organisations to share with CQC the experiences of their communities of Stoke Mandevile and/or Wycombe Hospital. We know many voluntary and community sector organisations work with communities that use health services and these expereinces – whether good or bad – can provide valuable insight to support the inspection process. The information shared at the focus group will enable the CQC inspectors to generate ‘key lines ofinquiry’ and toprioritise their activities during the inspection.
Who the focus groups are for
The focus groups are aimed at voluntary and community sector organisations whose clients have experience of Stoke Mandeville and/or Wycombe Hospital. Itshouldbe noted that members of the public, including localresidents, are invited to feedback in a variety of other ways including through anon-linesurvey, by post or telephone.
