Heroes for Heroes: Milton Keynes vaccine volunteers get sweet treat thank you from developer

In recognition of their hard work throughout the pandemic, staff and volunteers at the Saxon Court Vaccination Centre have received a sweet treat from local developer Barratt and David Wilson Homes.

Staff and volunteers at the centre were gifted boxes of Cadbury’s Heroes chocolates as a way to show the housebuilder’s appreciation for their hard work during the country’s vaccination effort.

Helen Smart, Vaccination Centre Manager, said: “We have a wonderful team here at Saxon Court and are well supported by vaccinators, administration staff and our fabulous volunteers.  We are honoured to be part of the national vaccination programme. Thank you to Barratt and David Wilson Homes for thinking of the staff here at the vaccination centre and providing chocolates for all.”

Between February and August this year, the staff and volunteers at Saxon Court Vaccination Centre have been hard at work, administering 84,032 vaccines.
