Hospice Corporate Partner Network turns 10 years old
It has been an incredible 10 years since the formation of The Hospice of St Francis Corporate Partner Network!
On 24th May 2012, the Hospice held its inaugural meeting with six founder members and since then it has grown to become a thriving network reaching over 200 members just before the pandemic struck in March 2020. The wonderful support of the local business community has been vital to sustaining Hospice care ever since its formation.
Central to the CPN are the regular networking events, which are organised by the Hospice but hosted by a Corporate Partner every 2 months. Two events a year are also held at the Hospice and the summer event in July was held in the marquee in the beautiful grounds of the Hospice. The “Pizza & Prosecco” themed event was enjoyed by over 70 Corporate Partners with the delicious pizza cooked on site by Corporate Partner, Warehouse Pizza from Berkhamsted.
Recently, the Hospice held its annual Winter Ball at Latimer House in Chesham on Friday 4th November. A special thank you to the sponsors: Machins Solicitors, Message House, Rayden Solicitors, Waste 2 Environmental Systems and Zing Digital and Marketing Communications.
Claire Larkin, Hospice Corporate Partnerships Manager says, “It really was a fantastic event which was attended by over 140 of our Corporate Partners whose generosity contributed to raising an incredible £37,000 for The Hospice of St Francis and I would like to give a special mention to Allexia Griffiths who spoke so beautifully about how our Hospice care has supported her family. We’re looking forward to doing it all again in 2 years’ time!”
Our Corporate Partner Network underpins the support we receive from our local business community, as well as guaranteeing the Hospice a regular income. It is a fantastic way in which businesses can support a local charity, while having the opportunity to meet and connect with a wide range of other like-minded businesses at our regular networking events.
There are different levels of membership to suit different budgets and we are constantly looking at ways in which we can grow the network and I’d love to hear from companies who would be interested in finding out more.”
Joining the Corporate Partner Network includes free attendance to regular business networking events and connecting with like-minded local businesses, benefitting from increased opportunities for web, social media and local press coverage and support of a local charity can also boost staff morale and employee engagement.
