HS2 Works Notification: A41 and Station Road, works update

We’re writing to let you know about some remaining works that we will be carrying out on the A41 at the junction with Station Road near Quainton.

Previously we have advised a requirement for overnight road closures on the A41 and the introduction of a diversion route. The advertised closures being in late November / early December 2021.

Due to unforeseen asphalt material and delivery availability, the programme of A41 planned closures at this junction has been postponed until early 2022.

The A41 in this area will operate under a 3 way full time temporary traffic light control system. Access to / from Station Road will also be provided at this junction using traffic lights.

We will write to you again upon confirmation of asphalt material availability and confirmation of the required consents to implement the overnight closures.

We are targeting these works early in 2022 and we will keep you informed.

We apologise for these changes and any disruption caused by the cancellation of these 2021 closures.
