HS2 Works Notification: A418 traffic management update

As our preparatory works continue and in order to complete our break from highway and CCTV drainage works on the A418 Oxford Road, we need to extend the current traffic management provision that we have in place in order to undertake some watermain protection works.

During this time a lane closure with temporary traffic lights will be introduced to the road when necessary. The break from highway works are required to construct the access to our compound and our site access road.

The traffic management on the A418 Oxford Road will continue through October and into November 2021.

To further reduce the inconvenience to road users, traffic management will only be introduced off peak, between 9.00am and 3.30pm. We will work to reopen the roads as soon as possible, to reduce disruption. We would advise allowing more time to complete your journeys during this time.
