HS2 Works Notification: Break from highway, A413 London Road
We’re writing to let you know about some planned works that we will be carrying out in your area.
In February, we will be creating a break from highway on the A413 London Road. These works are expected to take approximately four weeks and should be finished in late March. In order to carry out these works, there will be traffic management in the form of a lane closure with two-way traffic lights. The A413 London Road will have temporary traffic management, off peak from 9.00am to 3.30pm, commencing Monday 21 February 2022 to late March 2022.
In March, a concrete pour will be required to construct the junction into one of our work sites. When this concrete pour is carried out, traffic management will need to be in place for 24 hours a day for approximately two days. This is to allow the concrete to set.
Timings of work may vary due to weather and ground conditions, but we intend to work to open the roads to reduce disruption and complete the break from highway as soon as possible. Some weekend working may be required. Should there be delays to our works, these dates may be subject to change.
