HS2 Works Notification: Public Rights of Way update, Mixbury, Westbury and Evenley

We’re writing to update you on the changes that we are putting in place to maintain access, as far as possible, using the Public Rights of Way in the Mixbury, Westbury and Evenley area.

The HS2 construction work passes through some well used tracks that link the villages of Evenley, Mixbury and Westbury. Sections of these tracks are required to be closed for safety reasons, with alternative routes in place along existing Public Rights of Way.

The Public Rights of Way have been clearly signposted by Oxfordshire County Council. Please follow these routes as the HS2 works areas have large items of machinery in operation.

We expect these arrangements to be in place for the next six months, though further changes and closures will be necessary as the nature of our work changes and these will be communicated in advance.
