HS2 Works Notification: Road closure, CCTV drainage works, Wendover

We’re writing to let you know about some planned works that we will be carrying out in your area.

In early February, we will be carrying out a series of CCTV drainage surveys and vegetation clearance in the areas of Nash Lee Road, Wendover bypass, Nash Lee Lane, Bacombe Lane and Ellesborough Road.

In order to carry out these works safely we will need to introduce temporary traffic management on Nash Lee Road in the form of a temporary lane closure. Nash Lee Lane and Bacombe Lane will have marshalled traffic management.

In addition to carrying out CCTV surveys, we will also need to flush the drains and gulleys using a high-pressure water jet. This is to remove any build-up of silt and can sometimes be noisy. Your utility services will not be affected during this time.

To enable access to areas of our site some vegetation clearance in these locations will also take place.

Nash Lee Road and the Wendover bypass will have temporary traffic management from 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday 7 February. Nash Lee Lane and Bacombe Lane will have marshalled traffic management on 8.00am to 6.00pm from Monday 21 February.

Ellesborough Road will be fully closed, 8.00am – 6.00pm, from Wednesday 9 February to Friday 18 February.

As a contingency, should we be unable to conduct these works during these windows, we may also need to book closures/traffic management measures on these roads in the following weeks.
