HS2 Works Notification: Road closure of Chiltern Road and Dobbins Lane

We’re writing to let you know about some planned works that we will be carrying out in your area.

 

During March we will need to close Chiltern Road and Dobbins Lane to carry out watermain maintenance works.

To reduce the number of deliveries to our sites and to maintain a sustainable source of water for our works, we will be establishing a connection to a watermain to supply our Wendover Green Tunnel compound.

To ensure this diversion will not affect the water pressure of Wendover town residences, our subcontractor, Thames Water, will be carrying out maintenance works in the area.

As the water main access points are in specific locations on Chiltern Road and Dobbins Lane, we will need to close these roads to ensure both road users and our workforce are kept safe throughout the works.

A fully signposted diversion route will be in place throughout the closures and access for market traders to Manor Waste from the corner of Dobbins Lane will be maintained.

 

Works take place on the following dates:

  • Chiltern Road closure – Monday 13 to Friday 17 March
    • Dobbins Lane closure – Monday 20 to Friday 31 March

Both closures will be in place 24 hours a day throughout these periods.

These dates may be subject to change due to circumstances outside of our control but will be completed on or around the timings specified.
