HS2 Works Notification: Stoke Mandeville and Quainton temporary traffic management

We’re writing to let you know about some planned works that we will be carrying out in your area.

 

Stoke Mandeville – A4010 Risborough Road, lane closure

We will be carrying out some works on Risborough Road (A4010) in Stoke Mandeville. We need to re-locate a section of pavement to enable the future installation of a temporary bridge over Risborough Road.

The purpose of the bridge will be to keep our construction traffic within our sites as much as possible and reduce the impact on the local road network.

Risborough Road will have traffic management in the form of a lane closure with traffic lights, 9.00am to 3.00pm, from Monday 6 June to Friday 17 June 2022. Some additional weekend work may also take place if required.

Quainton – Road closure, Shipton Lee Road

A section of Shipton Lee Road (also known as Lawn Hill) will be closed for Ground Investigation works on Monday 6 June, from 9.00am to 3.00pm.

These activities will allow us to accurately identify the location of utilities that will need to be diverted while we build HS2.
