HS2 Works Notification: Temporary road closure, Brackley Road, Radstone, Northamptonshire

We’re writing to let you know about some planned works that we will be carrying out in your area.

As part of our continued preparatory works for our internal haul and access roads we will close a section of Brackley Road for approximately two weeks. During the closure, we will create a strengthened surface using concrete to ensure that we protect the road and any utilities underneath it for the duration of our works.

Once the crossing point is created, Brackley Road will then be open as normal, with gates in place to keep local traffic separated from construction traffic. All plant crossings, without exception, will be signal controlled.

A section of the Brackley Road will be fully closed, 24 hours a day, from Monday 14 February to Monday 7 March, with a diversion in place. We will work to open the roads to reduce disruption as soon as possible.

During the closure, there will be a local diversion via Halse Road and access to Radstone village will be maintained from the A425 and the A43. There will be no impact on access to the bridleway AX18 towards Greatworth during these works.
