HS2 Works Notification: Temporary road closure, Edgcote Lane
We’re writing to let you know about some planned works that we will be carrying out in your area.
As the project progresses, it is necessary to carry out essential Ground Investigation surveys. These surveys help us learn more about the land we will be working on.
Our surveys will be carried out over four days at the junction of Edgcote Lane with Welsh Road. We are required to close a section of Edgcote Lane for the duration of the works.
For reasons of safety, there will also be temporary traffic lights at the junction of Edgcote Lane with Welsh Road. This is for the safety of road users and our staff because the Trafford Bridge is very narrow.
A section of Edgcote Lane will be closed on the following week days: Thursday 4 November to Friday 5 November and Monday 8 November to Tuesday 9 November. To reduce disruption as much as possible, we do not intend to close this road over the weekend and it will only be introduced off peak from 9.00am to 4.00pm, with a local diversion in place.
