HS2 Works Notification: Traffic management, road closures and utilities works: Aylesbury, Stoke Mandeville, and Waddesdon

A41, Waddesdon

A section of A41 Bicester Road will have traffic management in the form of a lane closure with traffic lights from Monday 14 November to Friday 18 November 2022, from 9.00am to 3.00pm, as we will be working close to the local highway.

We will be carrying out Ground Investigation (GI) works along the A41. These works will take just over a week to complete. These activities will allow us to identify the location of utilities that will need to be diverted.

Aylesbury and Stoke Mandeville utility works

Thames Water will be conducting a water connection within the verge along the A418. In order to carry out these works safely, we will need to introduce temporary traffic management in the form of a lane closure with three-way traffic lights. We will work to open the lanes to reduce disruption as soon as possible.

Thames Water will also be conducting some works on the water supply in the Stoke Mandeville area. Thames Water should be contacting these residents directly. No traffic management is required for this work.

UKPN will be diverting an electricity cable adjacent to the A418. This diversion will facilitate upcoming works for the permanent realignment of the A418.

The A418 will have traffic management overnight from 8:00pm to 6.00am from Monday 31 October 2022 for approximately 5 days.

There may cause a temporary disruption to the power supply on Monday 7 November and/or Saturday 12 of November 2022 to a few properties adjacent to the A418.

We understand that we are providing short notice for these works; unfortunately, utility-related works are sometimes confirmed with short notice.
