HS2 Works Notification: Update on closure of Tilehouse Lane, West Hyde

We’re writing to let you know about some changes to planned works that we will be carrying out in your area.

Continued closure of Tilehouse Lane scheduled until August 2022

Since 24 January 2021 Tilehouse Lane has been closed to allow us to build a new permanent diversion route over the HS2 railway. This includes an upgraded Tilehouse Lane and overbridge and will create a new junction and access for the Denham Park Farm quarry. Based on feedback we have received from residents it appears that an extended closure of Tilehouse Lane would be well received. This would also provide a benefit to Align by removing the need to manage a construction crossing on a public highway. Access will be maintained at all times to Tilehouse Lane businesses, residents and the emergency services from the southern end of Tilehouse Lane at the junction with Denham Green Lane.

Temporary traffic management: 2-way lights on the A412

We will also be undertaking minor vegetation clearance and carrying out essential drainage maintenance works along the A412 to ensure that the drains are able to collect and carry water to safe areas during heavy rainfall helping to minimise flood risk on the A412. These works will take place 20 September 2021 to 01 October 2021 between 09.20 – 16.00
