HS2 Works Notifications : Overnight road closures, A413 London Road and work on the Princes Risborough to Aylesbury railway

We’re writing to let you know about some planned works that we will be carrying out in your area from April. 

Overnight road closures, A413 London Road

As part of the installation of our conveyor, we will be lifting a temporary bridge into place over the A413 London Road.

we are also clearing a blockage in the local drain network and will undertake further CCTV surveys to ensure there are no further blockages. This work will improve the drainage in the area.

The A413 London Road will be closed overnight, 8pm-6am, from Monday 4 April to Thursday 7 April 2022.  Should there be delays to our works for reasons beyond our control, these dates may be subject to change.

We will be carrying out these works under the same overnight closures to reduce disruption as much as possible.

Princes Risborough to Aylesbury railway

We will be completing further Ground Investigation (GI) works next to the existing Princes Risborough to Aylesbury (PRA) railway. These will enable us to complete the bridge and underpass for the PRA railway.

For safety reasons, we can only work when there are no trains running on the line. These works will therefore take place in the very early hours of each Sunday until the middle of May, with the exception of Easter Sunday.

Our vehicles and machinery will be fitted with exhaust silencers where possible, to help reduce disruption.

We may need to carry out some localised vegetation clearance to access areas where the works need to be carried out.

These works will take place each Sunday, from 1.00am to 6.00am, starting on Sunday 3 April 2022 through to Sunday 22 May 2022. We will not be working on Easter Sunday.
