John Colet School Assessed as ‘Good’
Earlier this month the John Colet School was inspected by Ofsted and was assessed as ‘Good’ in every area.
Headteacher Christine McLintock says: “We are delighted by the results of the recent Ofsted report, which concluded that the John Colet is now a ‘Good’ school.
“Since the previous Ofsted inspection in January 2014, all members of the school community have worked tirelessly to tackle the areas pinpointed as underperforming. Our new ‘Good’ grading reflects this effort and achievement.
“As well as commenting on significantly improved pupil achievement and outcomes, Ofsted also highlighted the positive school environment, the hardworking and effective Governing Body and school leaders, the high quality teaching, the positivity of parents and the exemplary behaviour of students.
“This new Ofsted grading reflects the high standards staff place on themselves and the students and we will continue to build on this and strive for yet more improvement in the future.”
