Little Acorns Kindergarten Sports Day
On Tuesday 10th July, Little Acorns Kindergarten held their first ever Sports Day!
Fifty-six children and their families joined us on the John Colet Sports field for an active morning full of fun and games.
Mel Armstrong, Manager of Little Acorns Kindergarten, joined forces with Miss Tallyn, PE Teacher at the John Colet School to deliver a range of age appropriate games for the two to four year olds. None of this would have been possible without the enthusiasm and care of the John Colet Young Sports Leaders, aged between twelve and fifteen. These Sports Leaders were excellent role models to our young children – they joined in with the activities, displaying care and attention for our young ones. Each and every Sports Leader was a credit to the John Colet School.
One of our parents said, “Just a quick email to say thank you so much for organising sports day. It was such a fantastic morning and (my child) thoroughly enjoyed himself. I wondered whether you would also pass on my thanks to John Colet too. The students were absolutely brilliant and so, so patient – they really helped make the morning special.”
