Leading developer lights up the sky with firework display in Milton Keynes

Leading developer Barratt and David Wilson Homes put on a sparkling display of fireworks for residents at its Woburn Downs development in Milton Keynes last week.

The Sales Team at Woburn Downs at the Bonfire Event

The event took place at the Watling Street development to help residents to come together at the growing community.

The new development is now well underway, with the sales team hosting a number of events for its residents this year, including a summer BBQ and a scavenger hunt around a Halloween decorated show home.

Alison Raine, Sales Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Northampton, said: “We wanted to put on a firework show at Woburn Downs this year now the development is beginning to flourish.

The pandemic has limited the opportunities for our residents to meet their neighbours, so we hope the event helped to create some new connections.

“As a leading housebuilder we want to lead the way in not only the way that we build our homes but also how we support our local communities, groups and charities to bring people closer together.”

On the night, the development saw lots of families, food and fun, all while the fabulous fireworks were entertaining the crowds of people.

There is a range of three, four and five bedroom homes starting from £357,995 at the development, ideal for first time buyers, commuting professionals and growing families alike.

Woburn Downs boasts a combination of town and country living, offering a green environment for residents with lots of open space, foot and cycle paths, allotments and a nearby country park, Waterhill Park.

The development also boasts great commuter links, being only six miles from central Milton Keynes, where commuters can reach London in just 35 minutes from Milton Keynes Central train station.
