Lindengate Update, Easter 2015

Happy Easter Everyone!

Thank you very much for your continued support of Lindengate!

The first three months of the year have flown past! But we’ve made great progress – there are more people coming in to use the charity and even though it’s early days for everyone, we’ve had great feedback. And thanks to the very generous donations received, we’ve managed to get the deer and rabbit fence sorted and also make improvements to the site drainage – fingers crossed no more flooding!

We couldn’t have achieved this without support from the local community – here are just some of the local community groups who’ve helped us so far this year:
Rotary Club of Wendover & District
Wendover Evening WI
Chiltern Society – WendoverWoods Conservation Group
Chiltern Rangers
Aylesbury Lions
Vale Countryside Volunteers
St Mary’s Church, Wendover

Thought you might be interested in the events we’re running over the next few months – take a look below for more information. And we’ve just had confirmation that the Mikron Theatre Company will be visiting us on the evening of FridayJuly 17th – get the date in your diary – we’ll get further details out to everyone, once the arrangements are all confirmed.

If you want to get more regular updates of what’s happening at Lindengate then please see our Facebook page – and please “Like” it too!

Now that we’ve got the deer and rabbitfencing up we can start on some real gardening & will be starting on our “small gardens” – anyshrubs or perennials, for that matter, would be gratefully received!
