Local Elections 2021
The new Buckinghamshire Council was formed on 1 April 2020 but it was impossible to organise elections for Councillors in the frenzied atmosphere of early lockdown so here we are in 2021 and elections will take place on Thursday 6 May between 7am and 10pm.

All candidates listed were contacted for their details but some were unable to supply them in the short time between the closing of the nominations and the Wendover News copy dates.
The deadline for registering to vote passed on Monday 19 April. Similarly the deadline for applying for a new postal vote, postal proxy application or changing existing postal proxy votes passed on Tuesday 20 April and the deadline for applying to vote by proxy passed on Tuesday 27 April (correct at time of going to press).
The election counts for Buckinghamshire Council are scheduled for 9:30am on Saturday 8 May. The various manifestations of Wendover News online: https://wendovernews.co.uk; www.facebook.com/wendoveruknews; https://twitter.com/wendover_news will post the results when they are published by Buckinghamshire Council.
The count for the Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner is from 10am on Monday 11 May.
