The process for choosing the Head Students at John Colet School now starts in March so that the old team can spend time with the new team passing on some of their experience. They are also at the head of a team of prefects each of which has a special responsibility to deliver.

Examples include:

National Diversity Week is celebrated in John Colet School 26-30 June in common with other schools.

Community involvement, liaising with local junior schools including 2 days of Induction 4-5 July.

Peer mentoring to support vulnerable younger students.

Open Evenings – the student voice.

Careers advice – there will be a careers fair in February.

The team is really looking forward to the opening of their new sixth form block in September and working with the new Head Teacher Mr Ian Brierly.
