  • Monday 8 February: a trench was dug to house the drains and elecricity supply.
  • Tuesday 9 February: the blocks which will make a channel for water to flow into the drain were prepared for laying. The orange tubes in the background will house electricity cables.
  • Wednesday 10 February: the drainage channel is in place.
  • Thursday 11 February: A new gully pot is built. This is the entrance to the drain and supports the drain cover.
  • Friday 12 February: The tarmac has arrived! Many thanks to Christopher Dean for this action shot!
  • Friday 12 February: The first section of the refurbishment had some tarmac laid on its surface today. The next part of the Manor Waste, down to the road entrance to Budgens Car Park, was then enclosed for the next stage which commences on Monday.
  • Friday 12 February: This is the way we’ll enter and exit Budgens for the next little while.
  • Saturday 13 February: Despite the restricted entrance and exit, Budgens is still there to serve on Wendover’s Manor Waste.
