Mental health in focus in today’s council video update
Staying mentally healthy during the coronavirus emergency is the topic of today’s video update (Vlog) from Buckinghamshire Council Leader Martin Tett.
Martin is joined by Sophia Hobbs from mental health charity Bucks Mind.
Sophia gives some simple tips on how to combat stress and anxiety during these challenging times. At the start of the video, Sophia says: “The good news is it’s a little bit like going to the gym to build your muscles. To look after your mental wellbeing, which can be really good for your overall mental health, there are a lot of things you can practise.”

The daily Vlog, supporting the message #ProudofBucks, also provides an opportunity for people to ask questions via social media on how the council is fighting Coronavirus locally, what residents can do to stay safe, and how they can get involved in helping others – using the #askBucksCouncil Twitter hashtag.
Vlogs will also be shared daily on the council’s social media channels.
