Milton Keynes named most cost-efficient place to live

Alongside its reputation as the town with the highest concentration of roundabouts, Milton Keynes is now also being dubbed the most cost-efficient place to live.
With this new research, leading housebuilder Barratt and David Wilson Homes is highlighting why Milton Keynes is the post lockdown place.
This new status was crowned in a recent home buying study by OneFamily, which takes into account a range of factors including average salary, rent, property prices, commuting costs and quality of life. The study placed Milton Keynes fourth on their overall index and named the town the most cost-effective place to live.1
On top of this, another study by SmartSurvey has also named Milton Keynes in their top 10 places with the happiest workforce.2
