Mince pies and mulled wine at Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity Wendover shop in the run-up to Christmas – plus late-night opening

On Wednesday 4th December, the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity (FNHC) shop on Wendover High Street, will be opening until 8.00pm with mince pies and mulled wine to tempt you in. The Charity has been nominated as this year’s beneficiary of the Wendover Christmas Lights switch-on, which will see Senior Day Hospice Nurse Jenny Spencer-Jones sharing a few words about the Hospice before pressing the switch to light up the night sky.

The Charity’s Wendover shop will then be staying open until 7.30pm on Thursdays for Christmas late-night shopping starting from Thursday 5th December until Thursday 18th December. With glitzy party frocks, stunning accessories and glitzy jewellery up for grabs, plus stocking filler gifts (including a new range of new goods in store), you won’t want to miss out on these fantastic opportunities to grab a bargain after work or when the kids are in bed!

The Hospice has been providing specialist palliative care for local families affected by life-limiting illness since 1989 and in its 25th anniversary year, hopes the community will come together to celebrate and help raise extra funds in this very special year.

The Wendover Charity shop has generated more than a quarter of a million pounds since it opened its doors more than 10 years ago – thanks to its wonderful customers.

Carol and her team would like to say “a very big thank you and wish all our customers, volunteers and supporters a very Happy Christmas and New Year.”
