Missenden Abbey Christmas Fair raises over £3,800 for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance
Missenden Abbey, based in Great Missenden, were delighted to host their annual Christmas Fair on Sunday 1st December 2019 welcoming over 2,500 visitors. The fair raised an incredible amount of over £3,800 for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
Visitors were treated to a wide range of local craft & gift stalls, side amusements, Santa’s grotto, reindeers, seasonal food & drink and lots more. They were also thrilled to have Prestwood Junior School choir perform some festive Christmas songs.
Suze Ward – Sales and Marketing Manager of Missenden Abbey said – ‘We had an incredible turnout this year and it was wonderful to have so many of the local community attend. The joy in people’s faces at the sight of the real reindeer and the children meeting Santa made the day even more magical and we are really pleased to be able to support such a worthy, local cause.’

It was a beautiful sunny day in December to spend at the Abbey, and a lovely way to kick off the festive season. Whether we are called to a road accident in the cold and dark, a fall, a head injury, cardiac arrest or any other crisis, the only thing we can be certain of is that someone will need our help this Christmas, so thank you for thinking of us, and for giving patients the emergency treatment they need to spend future Christmases with their loved ones.”
