Mozart & Haydn with Aylesbury Choral Society

SATURDAY 30 MARCH – A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY

Aylesbury Choral Society will be performing two fabulous pieces of music on Saturday 30 March at 1930 in St Mary’s Church, Aylesbury. These are Mozart Mass in C Minor, or The Great Mass; and Haydn’s St Nicolai Mass.

The first is one of the most famous choral works ever written and the second is without doubt a beautiful, joyous and vivacious piece of music. The Aylesbury Sinfonia will accompany both pieces of music.

We are particularly delighted to welcome four young and very talented soloists:

Eleanor Stevens (Soprano) has sung for HRH Prince of Wales and has also personally raised some £40000 in concerts over the last 4 years for MacMillan Cancer Relief.

Elinor Cooper (Soprano) who is not only a talented soloist, but also a noted choral conductor.

Adam West (Tenor) is considered to be one of the most promising singers at the Royal college of Music.

Tomos Jones (Bass ) who has had great Eisteddford success and also sang with Only Boys Allowed. He is considered by many to have the potential to emulate his namesake, but in the classical field

Tickets are available on www.aylesburychoral.org.uk website or through choir members or on the door at the concert. The website is recommended where possible to avoid disappointment as this concert will be very popular. Prices are £15 or £5 for under 18s.
