New Buckinghamshire Council needs your help with its new look

A new council for Buckinghamshire means a new visual style will be coming soon to buildings, buses, the website and more.

Residents across the county are invited to get involved in a number of focus groups taking place in the next few weeks, to look at the options for a logo, colours, and style to represent the new Buckinghamshire Council.

In a joint statement, Cllr Warren Whyte (Buckinghamshire County Councillor and Aylesbury Vale District Councillor) and Cllr Angela Macpherson (Leader of Aylesbury District Council and Buckinghamshire County Councillor), who are working with teams across all five current councils to create the new brand, explained that no design experience is necessary for those who want to get involved:

We’re looking for people from all walks of life – all we ask is that you live in Buckinghamshire. We are not looking for branding or design geniuses (although they are, of course, welcome), we just want a range of local people to tell us what they think, and help shape how our new council will look for the future.”

There will be five focus groups held across the whole county between 29th August and 5th September, in the following locations:

Aylesbury – Thursday 29th August, 6-7pm
Exhibition Suite, Old County Offices, Market Sq.

Denham – Monday 2nd September, 6-7pm
