New Gardener Programmes 2020 at Lindengate Mental Health Charity

Nature Connections:

Lindengate Mental Health Charity has developed a new program dedicated to those struggling with stress and anxiety in the workplace.

Nature Connections explores resilience and coping strategies through identification for wellbeing habits and techniques.  “Your Mid-Life Wellbeing Blueprint”.

The programme is ideal for people experiencing burn out, anxiety / stress management difficulties and aims to promote positive wellbeing in the workplace and community.

Course Dates:  March, May, July, September 2020

Course Length: 2 Day Weekend Course

Age Group: 30 +

Capacity: 12 persons

 

Other new programmes developed by our Social and Therapeutic Horticultural team include #YOUVE for 16 to 25-year-olds, which is run in collaboration with Matt Rodda, Wellbeing Practitioner and The Chiltern Society.  Offering the opportunity for young people to participate in purposeful nature based activities to encourage a natural growth in assertiveness, improve self-confidence, reduce anxiety and emotional distress and promote wellbeing.
