Accessing our Care

Thanks to your continued support, our community nursing team recently expanded its service and is here to answer medication queries, give advice and make home visits seven days a week to those under our care. If you, or someone you know, is living with cancer or a life-limiting illness such as a heart, lung, kidney or neurological condition we might be able to support you via our Spring Centre. (We support from early diagnosis and through treatment and remission). We also support significant people in a person’s life (partners/children) affected by serious illness in the family. www.stfrancis.org.uk/selfrefer

Ways you can help!

We’d love your support ahead of our 40th birthday this June (more information coming soon!). How about?

New bike for Christmas? Set yourself a goal of joining one of our sponsored cycling challenges including cycling from London to Paris in September. stfrancis.org.uk/challenge

Join our treasured volunteer workforce! Our founder, Pam Macpherson said, “Everyone has a talent and we need all those talents! Whatever talent you may have, we’d love your support!” stfrancis.org.uk/volunteer

Love golf? We’re giving you the chance to play golf on some great local courses – Stocks, Moor Park and Ashridge. Stfrancis.org.uk/golf

This year our Bubble Rush challenge is on Sunday 12th May at Gadebridge Park, Hemel Hempstead. Bubble Rush is an incredi-bubble 5km charity challenge for all the family – and friends too! Anyone from tots to teens, grown-ups to grandparents can take part and have bubbles of fun running through masses of multi-coloured foam. As well as providing an exhilarating morning – perfect for creating special memories together – the event also encourages all bubblers to have fun and feel good, raising money for charity. It’s also a great way to teach kids about helping others in their community too!
