Notice of overnight road closures – A413, Wendover Bypass and Nash Lee Road – update

The December Wendover News went to press this week. Included in it was an article from EKFB, the local HS2 contractors, advising of some topographical survey works due to take place over three weeks (22 Nov – 11 Dec) on the A413, Wendover Bypass and Nash Lee Road.

Today, Wendover News has been advised of revised shorter dates for the works; details below:

Notice of overnight road closures – A413, Wendover Bypass and Nash Lee Road

What Are We Doing?
We are undertaking overnight topographical surveys along the A413, Wendover Bypass and Nash Lee Road. With extra resource now available we can condense the closure period and these surveys will be carried out over a period of one week.

To carry out these inspections safely and effectively, we will need to put in place overnight road closures with signed diversions. This is required because our staff will be working directly on the carriageway.

When will these works take place?
The A413, Wendover Bypass and Nash Lee Road will be closed overnight for topographical surveys from 7.00pm-6.00am, Monday 29 November to Monday 6 December.

We will work to open the roads to reduce disruption as soon as possible. Should there be delays to our works, these dates may be subject to change.
