Ofsted awards outstanding to village day nursery

The team at Bambino Day Nursery in Halton would like to share our amazing news. Following a recent Ofsted inspection we have been rated OUTSTANDING!!! We would like to thank the families that have given kind feedback on our questionnaires and those that spoke to the inspectors in person.

“Staff develop exceptionally good relationships with the children and their families and know the children well. Consequently, children are confident & emotionally secure”.

We are thrilled that we have been recognised as “outstanding” not only by our families but now by our governing body too.

“The safe, stimulating & supporting environment and the exceptionally enthusiastic, welcoming staff enable children to make excellent progress”.

The full report is available to view on the Ofsted website.

A parent from the setting says “It was a hard decision who I chose to leave my most precious baby with, but the friendly and helpful staff made the transition so smooth, giving us time and individual attention. They were always there with a reassuring smile and helpful advice and the photographic learning books enabled me to see our little one was settled & busy throughout the day.

Bambino Day Nursery Halton is one of five nurseries in a chain based around the Aylesbury and Wycombe area. It opened in 2000 and offers a homely environment for babies and children up until statutory school age. The nursery is located within the grounds of Halton Combined School and offers full day care and local authority funded hours for children from the surrounding villages and families from the Royal Air Force Base located opposite the setting.

Achieving the “outstanding” status was all thanks to the hard working and dedicated team, who strive to ensure every child is cared for, nurtured and their individual needs planned for to enable them to reach their full potential. We are truly grateful to the families who support us and attend our open days such as; Sports Days, Concerts and fundraising events, which all play an important part in working together to create happy, sociable and respectful future generations.
