Owls at RAF Halton

Conservationists Dave Short and Brian Walters took two very special visitors to the Supply & Movements Training Wing at RAF Halton this week.

Two owls called Lilly and Elly visited students on an Environmental Protection Course. The reason for the visit was to teach the students about how they can help the owls, bats and peregrine falcons on their own Stations.

Dave said: “Lilly and Elly were very well received and the students were fascinated to learn how to help and encourage them. We were approached by the squadron and will be going regularly now to advise on this course.”
