Photographers wear it pink for Breast Cancer
Serco Station photographers at RAF Halton held a cake and coffee morning in aid of Wear It Pink, the Breast Cancer Charity, and raised £200. Kate, Chris and Luka, dressed in all shades of pink to support the charity which is close to Lukas heart as her best friend Gemma Roberts (aged 30) was diagnosed eight months ago. Gemma is fighting through the chemo and despite losing her hair she is not willing to lose the fight to this terrible disease. Gemma lives in Blackpool and although Luka, who comes from Wendover, isnt able to see her often she wanted to show her support by helping raise money not only for her best friend but for all women suffering and fighting.
So far this month, with cake sales and coffee mornings, RAF Halton have raised over £1500 supporting local and national charities.
