Portraits of a town: Tring’s residents strike a pose

An exciting new project is to take place in Tring, Hertfordshire, over the summer of 2018. Adam Hollier Photography plans to capture portraits of hundreds of Tring residents and will publish a beautiful book featuring all the faces, in September.

To mark the fifth anniversary of his photography business, Adam has decided he would like to give something back to the community in which he works. ‘Tring is a very special town. A project like this wouldn’t work in many other places – we have a unique sense of community here. I’m excited to meet lots of new people and say hello to some old friends whilst I capture as many portraits as possible for the book.’.

‘It would be great if almost everyone wanted to take part. I want to record a moment in time which features all the friendly faces in the town; everyone is invited!’

Portrait photographs are to be taken on several dates in different locations across the town in June and July. Anyone with a connection to Tring will be welcomed for a short photo session. Local charity, The Hospice of St Francis, will also benefit from book sales once the ‘coffee table’ style collection of images is complete later in the year.

Those who wish to find out more are encouraged to join the project Facebook group ‘Tring People – portraits of a town’ or contact the team at Adam Hollier Photography.

Portrait photography session details will be announced on Facebook and on adamhollier.co.uk as soon as they are confirmed.
