Queen’s honour for two Buckinghamshire businesses
Two Buckinghamshire companies have been honoured by HM The Queen in her Birthday Awards for Enterprise.
Curo Consulting Ltd., of Marlow, and the RWS Group Ltd., of Chalfont St Peter, are among 141 businesses that have won this accolade, in the Award’s 50th anniversary year.
Buckinghamshire’s Lord Lieutenant, Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, will present the awards on behalf of The Queen to both companies at ceremonies during the summer.
Sir Henry said: ‘The Award’s aims of promoting excellence and driving economic growth seem as relevant as ever, particularly in the light of our national efforts to boost exports.
‘It’s good to seeCuro, one of the county’s numeroussmall companies, honoured -a great tribute to Buckinghamshire as the entrepreneurial heart of Britain.’
Sir Henrycongratulatedthe RWS Group which haswon the Queen’s Awardfor the fifth time:first in 1987, then in 1994, 2004, and 2009.
