We salute You Captain Sir Tom Moore
RAF Halton was proud to honour Captain Sir Tom Moore on the news of his passing.

The Army veteran won the nation’s hearts by walking 100 laps of his garden in Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire last year during the first lockdown, raising money for NHS Charities Together.

He lifted the spirits of all those at RAF Halton and across the world. Thank you for reminding us to focus on a better tomorrow and that we never walk alone. Gone, but never forgotten, Sir, RAF Halton salutes you. Video of the salute is available on the RAF Halton Facebook page.

Station Commander’s Coin Presentation
The Station Commander, Group Captain Dan Startup, was proud to award his Commander’s Coin to the Direct Entry (DE) Senior Non Commissioned Officers (SNCO) team who have worked tirelessly to adopt a new training course whilst undergoing a change of personnel. Many congratulations to Flight Sergeant Kinnaird, Chief Tech Ward, Sergeant Martin, Sergeant Matterface, Sergeant Stobbs and Sergeant Wallace on this well-deserved award.
