RAF Regiment Rugby League Team thank Sponsors
The Royal Air Force Regiment Rugby League Team have presented their sponsors with team shirts during a training session for their game against the Royal Marines later this month.
Mr Jim Webster from BeesKnees Pest & Property Services and Mr Paul Saw from Care Building Services Limited are both contractors at RAF Halton. Jim is also very involved with the conservation on the Station. The third contractor to be presented is from Northern Game Feeds which is based in Leeds who will be presented with his shirt when the team visit that area.
Captain of the team, Warrant Officer Shaun Griffin from Initial Force Protection Flight, said: “RAF Regiment Rugby League will launch their inaugural overseas tour to Holland in June 17. We have been very lucky to be partnered by a number of loyal sponsors who have made our Rugby League Tour possible. Today we have been able to thank two of those sponsors in person. Care Building Services Ltd and Bees Knees, who both have very close links to RAF Halton, therefore it’s been a huge pleasure today to present them both with playing shirts. The design of the shirt is centred round the 75th anniversary of the formation of the RAF Regiment, these shirts proudly display each of our sponsors logos. We are also very grateful for the loyal support from Northern Game Feeds, The RAF Regiment Centurion Fund and NG Bailey.”
