Retiring or Retired? Think PROBUS
Probus is a nationwide organisation of independent clubs for retired or semi-retired professional and business people from all walks of life. Its purpose is to replace the fellowship which people often lose when they retire.
Many people whose workplace has been away from where they live, or have moved from another part of the country, will understand what this means.
The Aylesbury John Hampden Probus Club, founded in 1987, is open to those living in the Aylesbury and Wendover areas who are looking for an opportunity to make new friends, brought together in a relaxed atmosphere over a regular lunch.
Our luncheon meetings take place on the second Thursday of each month in the congenial surroundings of the Weston Turville Golf Club, and frequently feature a guest speaker.
Members and their guests are invited to join in occasional outings to chosen destinations of both cultural and technical interest.
A ready welcome awaits – and especially for those anxious to play an active part in a special local group. For more information, visit our website www.aylesburypc.com or email info@aylesburypc.com
