Rob Butler, MP’s Tribute to Sir David Amess

Following the brutal stabbing of MP Sir David Amess, to which Sir David later succumbed, Rob Butler, MP conveyed his sentiments:

“I am utterly shocked at this absolutely terrible news. Sir David was a superb MP, respected and liked by his colleagues. While he will be greatly missed in Parliament, my thoughts and prayers today are with his family and friends.”
