Duck Races, Sunday 16 October
Rotary in Wendover and District is delighted to be organising another Duck Race along Heron Path. This year’s date is Sunday 16 October, whatever the weather!

Duck purchase
The number of your duck can be purchased from J Brown Funeral Services at 23 High Street, Wendover, or any member of the Rotary Club of Wendover & District.

Classic Duck Race, 12 noon
The classic duck race (£2 per duck) is up to 400 small ducks propelled by the current from Heron Path Cottage towards Chapel Lane culvert and three winners announced.
Business Duck Race, 12:30pm
Ducks for the Business Race will cost £15. There is a discount to £10 if you bought a duck last year. That offer applies again this year. Business Ducks are double the size of those competing in the classic duck race and each business will be invited to decorate their duck as they see fit (using environmentally friendly paints etc).

Refreshments will be served – cakes and cold drinks. There will also be a fun raffle. Profits will be divided between Rotary supported charities including Wendover Dementia Support and Chiltern Foodbank .

Santa Sleigh in December
Rotary in Wendover & District needs volunteers to ensure that Santa can visit as many local roads as possible. If you would like to help out this year, please come to the duck race to discuss the opportunities or email cheryl@monkeypuzzlehighwycombe.co.uk.
