Rozelle Children in Need Tapathon 2017
On Sunday 19 November the Rozelle School of Dancing joined in the Children in Need attempt on the record for the largest tap dance in multiple venues. Dancers from Winslow and Wendover came to make a grand total of 97 tappers in the Memorial Hall.
Refreshments were available from 12 noon and donations reached £474.54 including approxmately £75 collected at the Thursday Antique Fair. Each tap dancer wore a t-shirt designed especially for the occasion and the sale of these raised £1160.00.
Unfortunately the whole event fell 78 dancers short of the record.
