Say “I do” to volunteering at new wedding dress outlet
Everyone loves a wedding – and there is a rare, not-to-be-missed opportunity coming up for you to be part of a big bridal event.
How do you fancy being at the heart of a magical experience for brides-to-be by volunteering at a unique bridal shop where hundreds of beautiful new bridal gowns will be sold to raise funds for local hospice care?
Do you have a flair for fashion and a few hours to spare? If so, this might be the volunteering role for you.
Rennie Grove Hospice Care has received a generous donation of a large collection of new wedding dresses – many with designer labels.
“We are enormously lucky to have received this extensive range of dresses from a generous benefactor,” said Deborah Gould, Director of Retailing and Trading at Rennie Grove.
“Our new wedding dress outlet is opening in Aylesbury in the early summer. It will be a unique shopping experience for brides, and their families and friends.”
Volunteers will be able to bring their own flair and enthusiasm to the role and because Rennie Grove wants to give brides and their friends and family an enjoyable experience, the charity is looking for volunteers who can give them excellent customer service.
Volunteers are needed seven days a week, between the hours of 9.30am and 7.30pm and flexible hours are offered to fit in with existing commitments. “If you can spare some time such as a couple of hours or more after school or work, in the morning, afternoon or early evening, that would be great,” said Deborah. “We hope that by joining our team of volunteers, the bride will not be the only person to have a happy shopping experience – you too will create your own special memories.”
