I’m Will Shirley, born and educated in Wendover before studying both remotely and in the gym to qualify as a personal fitness trainer. During the pandemic I’ve taken an interest in understanding what’s being done to protect us. That said, looking through all the advice about facemasks and sanitising, one obvious addition to our armoury of protection has been forgotten. This is (and really, should have always been) simply taking care of our bodies. In this article I would like to make you aware of the local facilities that we are lucky enough to have on our doorstep.
In larger towns and cities you’ll find yourself queuing to use equipment in crowded, expensive gyms. Luckily for us in the Wendover area, Halton Fitness Club offers something different. Having used Halton Fitness Club as my personal gym for the last 4 years and now offering my personal health and fitness training services there, I can vouch for the relaxed, private and friendly atmosphere you will find. With plenty of modern equipment and helpful members there is no better place to kickstart your fitness journey and begin putting yourself in the best position to fight, or better still avoid, both mental and physical illness.
