Search for Bucks Artistic Talent Underway

Bucks Open Studios, the largest visual arts event in Buckinghamshire and one of the biggest in the country, is on the hunt for local artists and makers to take part in its 2016 event. The annual artistic extravaganza, takes place 11-26 June 2016, and will see artists and makers including painters, ceramicists, glass workers, jewellery makers, photographers and print makers once again opening up their studios to the public for an impressive line-up of free demonstrations, hands-on workshops and exhibitions.

Bucks Open Studios organisers, Bob and Ann Marshall explain: “We would love to see some new creative talent taking part in next year’s Bucks Open Studios. It is a popular and important annual event for the visual arts and we are delighted to be once again offering an insight in to the wealth of creativity that is still so prevalent in our county.”

“So, if you’re a local amateur or professional artist or maker then why not be part of this well established and vibrant event? We had over 48,000 visits by the public last year so it’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and work to the general public as well as network with 600 like-minded creative people in the area.”
