Service Personnel cycle, run and row for RAFA
Servicemen Awaiting Trade Training (SATT) carried out some engagement activity recently.
They cycled, rowed and ran the distance from Land’s End to John O’Groats in just under nine hours, raising over £1500 for the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA).
Cpl Ian Newbold said: “This has been our first big charity event this year so far. Our plan is to do more charity events. Although the official SATT Charity is Wheelpower, I wanted to do something for RAFA before leaving the unit this week. We are looking at the next charity event being mid to late August.”
